Buck losing games

Recommended Posts

I feel like he was keeping his options rested for the Toronto series. If the offense had done their job we probably wouldn't be talking about this.
If the 3B coach wasn't a windmill we might not be talking about this.

I don't understand warming Brach up only to leave OD in.

Brach was up if they got the lead. You don't want to use guys only an inning in a tie game .

Yeah if it is 3-2 or whatever he uses the big three.

Brach should have pitched the 6th.

Dickerson had a terrible send with Trumbo.

Kim and Trumbo are DH's playing in a big OF.

And that folks is how a winnable game turns into a 6-2 loss.

This still goes back to the starting pitching though. We have two key pieces of the pen imo in Worley and Bundy. The problem is we have had to take them out of the pen to fill the holes from only 3 starters. This is why I have been saying we need to add a starter it slides either Worley or Bundy into spots like today.

Yeah, Despaigne gave up the lead so fast Buck decided to save them for Toronto unless they got the lead. He needed the BP to go 6th-9th inning (and possibly more if went into extras). He was not going have one of the big 3 going 2 innings.

If Brach pitches 6th who pitches the 7th?

Givens or O'day. Let Givens pitch the 7th or 8th depending on the LH's.

If you pitch Givens he is out tomorrow. Buck wants his big 4 ready for Toronto.

We're locked and loaded going into the Toronto series. Only cost us a 3 game losing streak to get our roster set up for the big weekend series.

It amazes me how many people would run the pen into the ground if they were managers Brach already has a big work load I want him in games in games we are winning not tie games or games vs the division.

My only guess was if the Orioles had taken the lead he would have brought in Brach.
