Tillman and Wright can be DFA'd.

And who exactly do you propose we start if one of our starters get injured/needs to rest?

They don't have to be good, just better than the other guy's 5th starter and keep you in more games than their guy.

You don't have to outrun the lion. Just the slowest guy you're with.

Even then, who would keep running Tillman out every fifth game? Even if you had Gibson, Seaver and Palmer...

In 97 the Orioles may have won 105 games if Jimmy Haynes wasn’t so bad. He was brutal.

Tillman has no business pitching up here.

Tillman allowed seven hits, two walks and a HBP while recording just six outs. He needs to be released after this game. No DL, not DFA, just outright release him.

They had an off day!

Suck it up!

Bleier's willing to pitch.

Donnie Hart for 2 innings then gone tomorrow.

Can they just drape a uniform on a pitching machine?

When Palmer noted that Tillman has not won a single game in 20 consecutive starts since last year...I thought about a definition of insanity as continuing to do the same thing and expecting a different result.  Dan Duquette is insane.

Do you think re-signing Tillman was Duquette's idea?  I don't, I think at best is was a price he agreed to pay in order to sign two decent FA pitchers.

Sad that this might be the end of Tillman's career.

No, it's sad that the Orioles didn't make the proper assessment on him after last season and then in the spring. It's embarrassing.

I agree...anything else is just conceding we are not serious about trying to win.
