Orioles should let Chris Davis close out the game.

He's probably a better pitcher than hitter at this point

Ok, some funny semantics about what constitutes a national team. But Boston folks travel. The ones I have known, even from a young age, were hardcore fans. And nice people.

I do not recall a ton of Sox fans at Orioles games back at Memorial Stadium. I was a kid. Maybe I am wrong.

In the 90’s Packer fans showed up. Never saw one in the 80’s.

When I was a kid the Yankees and Dodgers were National teams.

Boston has always had more fans than most but they had plenty latch on around 2003 or so. At that time baseball had little parity either.

He broke a bat over his knee just a few days ago!

Hasn't he cost the franchise enough money without destroying usable equipment and costing them even more?

Now even  Hunter is dissing on Wright’s diminished velocity. When it rains it pours.

So why did we give Cortes back to the Yankees

was he any worse than Wright, and everyone on planet Earth is betther than Chris Tillman

Seems like the perfect season to keep a rule 5 guy in the rotation all year

Well...if they insist on keeping Tillman and Wright...then maybe pitching them the same game is the thing to do. That way you have them both suck it up the same game instead of multiple ones.

At what point does Buck start getting some blame for playing Davis/Tillman? When the Os are 10-30? Playing Valencia/Alvarez is 100x better than watching Davis stand in the batters box and not move.

There were few MFY fans at Memorial. People didn't travel like they do now. Most fans of opposing teams were transplants. It was rare to sit next to a fan from Cleveland, for example.

New Rule - nobody named Chris can play for the Orioles.

Hoiles says no way.
