I am not worried about him but we need to get him going.

He was 2 for 4 last game and is 2 for 4 tonight.   That's kind of "going", isn't it?

Sure. Talking in general. Davis is a dead spot. RF is an issue. Caleb isn’t hitting.

Wright looked better than Tillman, tonight. We might still be in this is he had started with this kind of effort.

Wright looked like a guy with a 6 run deficit and nothing to lose.

Yeah, given that one of his issues is how amped up he gets before every start, and another issue is that even when he is doing well, a little adversity often throws him off his game.... how he does in a game where he doesn't start and there's really no pressure doesn't necessarily translate to how he'd do as a starter.

Still, there's absolutely no reason for Tillman to be starting over Wright.

Pick up a couple this inning and make them use Kimbreal, at least.

Pen has been real good tonight.

Yep 5 innings.   One run charged to the pen.   One inherited runner scored.   And both were on WP/PBs, not hits.  And we've only used one of our "good" relievers (Araujo).

They may be banking on a rainout.

Adam hacks at ball 4.
