If an Oriole is hurt how can you tell. A reduction in performance? Would it be noticeable? Would Wade LeBlanc turn into a soft tossing lefty who can't break 90 mph if his arm was sore?
Perhaps many of the O's pitchers would be more effective with an injury? Could they really get worse than last year?
Keith Law's top 100 prospect list was published today at The Athletic.
10. Adley Rutschman
50. DL Hall
60. Grayson Rodriguez
It doesn't sound like Law is down on Rutschman, he just seems to value guys that have proven it in the upper levels of the minors more highly. I am including partial blurbs on each player, there is more in the article.
Fun one. A little more up your alley, @Frobby? I still enjoyed every boring, mundane, scrub-laden second of the first game against the Braves. I'm starved for anything. I want to see all the scrubs. Let me soak up the futile at bats of Malquin Canelo. It's all good, it's all delicious. All of it.
Yup. I have similar feelings. I'll probably get over them.
I would just like to think that baseball players are admirable people. The cheating scandal makes it painfully obvious that they are not. I don't know how the Astros players can live with themselves. I guess they tell themselves either, "Everyone was doing it" or "It didn't really help us." They haven't actually said either. They have said, "Sorry."
I don't know... sorry isn't really a good enough answer. I think MLB should vacate their World Series.
