Evan Phillips is now pitching. Meanwhile, Phillip Evans is a non-roster invitee with the Cubs. I'm still waiting for the glorious Evan Phillips vs. Phillip Evans matchup.

Phillips starts the fourth with a strikeout of Zunino.

Whew! I saw this thread at 4 pages and thought I'd missed the game. But it's split squad today.

Cobb as OD starter?

And Bundy, gosh, I wonder if whatever his problem is can be fixed?

The problem is simple, he's not throwing hard enough.

Meadows draws a walk, but he's thrown out by Susac trying to steal second.

I'm going to guess that in a regular season game, he wouldn't have been trying to steal when down by six runs.

Correction, that was someone named Brousseau. Meadows is up now, and flies out to left. Inning over.

Well, a lot of guys of been successful not throwing very hard, the problem is that his fastball is straight as a string, and he doesn’t seem interested in or able to change where it goes.

And now Austin Hays homers to straightaway center. The young hitters are really getting it done.

14-6 Orioles.

I think it's TB's GM, talking about missing Kiermaier(?) both on defense and his bat. "His talent allows us to do some special things in the outfield" Shifting and where they can play I guess. KK is an opposing player I have a LOT of respect for. Tremendous talent.

Dare I say it, the Orioles' offense has the chance to be kind of fun this season.

As for the pitching, well... 😕

I was just listening, not watching the picture. It's TB's manager. Kevin Cash.

After the HR, the next three Orioles go down in order, including strikeouts by Young and Ruiz.

Halfway through. Orioles lead, 14-6.
