Patrick, just shut up and watch the game.

Y A Tittle and RC Owens. I remember those guys. Goodness that has to be 60 years ago. Now back to the O’s.

Nobody talking about Santander going 3 for 3 with a single, triple, and a HR? Unfortunately Hyde has him down in the lineup so he's probably only got one more AB to go for the cycle.

Assuming the Sux have shot their load, the O's task is to get 10 runs in three innings. It's doable. Never say Die!

Time for Dwight Jr to begin proving again that he belongs in the big leagues.

If this were a Gentleman's Game they would serve up a double now to the Youngster.

Santander shd have taken second--they would have held on to the ball to give him the Cycle (or thrown out Smith).

Ten run hr would be a good start.

Then we would know he was truly the son of someone from a higher league.

Wow, six fastballs all in the same 92.4-94.4 velocity range and Ruiz K'd swinging. I guess there's just not too much we can hope from him long-term.

Oh, I see the pitcher was left-handed. Why not PH with Alberto then?

Checking the score.  I'm assuming the Sux made both 2 point conversions and the O's missed their extra point.

Nope. It's because Bradley has been dropping a mess of 3-pointers.

Rickie starts the rally from 10-down with a leadoff single. Here we go!

    • I only trust and listen to Dr. Fauchi. The others are just noise.
    • If Gonzales glove is solid, he would be my pick. Wouldn't be unhappy with Veen either. I understand he is a super prospect. I'd pass on Martin and the Boras factor. Lacy would be my third choice due to control issues.
    • I don't think we will see the Keys contracted or even leave the O's minor league system.  The fanbase attendance is the 2nd best for the O's minor leagues and fanbases are hard to grow and harder to give up. Here are the O's fanbase and capacity of O's minor league ball parks:  (Attendance for 2018-2019) AAA   Norfolk    Harbor Park       Attendance: 5300/game       Capacity:  11,856 AA  Bowie   Prince Georges     Attendance: 3200-3400/game   Capacity:  10,000 A+  Frederick   Harry Grove      Attendance: 4300-4400 /game     Capacity:   5400 A  Delmarva     Perdue         Attendance:  3100-3300/game    Capacity:   5200 Short A   Aberdeen   Ripken    Attendance:  3200- 3500/game   Capacity   6300   There are no AAA teams on the contraction list so I think Harbor Park is safe.  And there are no other parks or fanbases with that capacity or fans  in the O's area except Richmond which if it change affiliations would probably go to the Nationals instead of them playing their AAA  Fresno. Though Bowie's attendance is low for a AA club its capacity of 10,000 will probably keep it a AA club in the O's organization. Frederick's fanbase is too high to contract and if Hagerstown is contracted (30 minute away) it might even increase attendances.  The park may be old and the city not having the money to improve it  just keeps it a A level club instead of allowing it to  move up to AA. Aberdeen's Ripken Park is newer and has more capacity then Perdue Stadium.  If the O's contract a team it is likely to be Delmarva in the NY Penn League IMO. Delmarva could become the Nationals Sally League team with Hagerstown being contracted. JMO https://ballparkdigest.com/2019/09/09/2019-affiliated-attendance-by-league/
    • Coincidentally, someone asked a question of Bill James about how players went from being so underpaid to being paid extravagant amounts, and the answer had a lot of Bowie Kuhn in it:
    • .286 avg is a bit low to be consider a tool? I know Adam was fast and had a very good glove and an good ability to cover ground, not sure, his arm strength was there.
    • I like Martin. In a weird year, take the “safe” pick.
    • Adam Jones at his peak sure was. Between the 2012 and 2013 seasons, he averaged: 15 SB, 31.5 HR, .286 AVG.  He was an All-Star, earned a Gold Glove, and finished in the top 13 in MVP voting in both years.
