Was just wondering if Davis has been benched for a few days because of his flare up with his Manager?

The starting pitcher on the opposing team is left-handed.

80% of the games that Davis has started so far this season (68 out of 80) have been against right-handed pitchers........ so there is a good chance that Davis would not have been starting tonight, regardless of any additional/external reasons that the manager might have.

If the goal is to watch baseballs being hit into the Iowa cornfield, they should bring the Orioles pitching staff along.

Notable guys who aren't there: Brady, Moose, and Fruit Loops.

They honored those who have passed away: Juan Bell, Kevin Hickey, and Frank and most of his coaches.

Finley isn't here either.

I clappesd for all but one of them.   Couldn't bring myself to cheer for Jamie Quirk.

If he could have just blocked that pitch...

At least they didn't invite that quitter Keith Moreland.

I went to that Friday night game in Toronto. Unfortunately, when I hear or think about the '89 season, the memory of that pitch tends to crowd out what I recall about all the good things that happened.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this weeks girl country singer botched the lyrics if the anthem?  Did she repeat the "what so proudly we hailed" line twice and miss the "o'er the ramparts" part or was it just my imagination?
