Ravens Trade Jermaine Eluemunor to Patriots

Recommended Posts

Interesting since he didn't play last week and was reported as injured. This leaves the line thin with Hurst, Bozeman, and Mekari battling for the starting left guard role.

Don’t forget Ben Powers too.

Your right ...!

I think the Ravens are looking for a trade of their own. I don't think any of our lineman are a starting left guard now. I don't believe Hurst will ever be.

Seems like we just didn't think Eluemunor could seize the job.    Guess I hope another trade is coming.

Heard he went into Harbs dog house due to availability.

so we now hold

1-5 of our own plus

4, 5, and conditional 7th

and comp picks that should be 3 & 4

so

1, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 5, and 7(maybe)

Gotta think we pick up a lineman and possibly a MLB

I see this two ways, they are getting draft capital to make a big acquisition, or they are treating this as a rebuild year.  The latter would make sense given the relative youth of the offense.  The former if they feel like they could pry a long term piece away.

I think they have a splash play planned for the next 4 days.

I think you are reading way too much into a trade of a fringe backup OL who is prone to penalties and injuries.

The odds of Hurst ever starting there are slim and none. Unless they want a QB to die.

Yes ....he just not very good.

Even that is being kind.  I still cannot comprehend why they gave him a new deal.

I agree and one that seemed very generous IMO.
