Dylan’s ongoing flirtation with trying to get below 5 ERA continues.

Not sure he was out at second, but we'll take it.

It seems like lately Severino's throws to second, even when they're strong, are never too close to the right spot -- down near the bag on the first-base side.

One of our catchers finally throws a guy out, and it's going to get reversed.

Even when it's already a single up the middle, somehow feels better to have a real centerfielder out there.

Does Stewart have the yips like when Steve Sax couldn’t throw the ball to 1B? I thought he was supposed to be ok defensively in the outfield.

I didn’t watch him in the minors. He seems like he could be solid. But I think it is a finer line than we might think between Aaron Judge and frisky Mark Trumbo in the outfield.

Just a note: seems like there is a difference between when Buck and Hyde use pinchrunners. Buck, from what I remember, tended to wait until the original runner reaches second. Hyde goes ahead and does the substituion even when the runner is only on first.

He looks sometimes like he has never played out there. I mean Delmon Young ish.

That’s the vibe I’ve gotten too. When Mancini looks like a gold glover in comparison you’ve got a problem.
