Insomnia sucks

Try CBD oil. My eldest daughter has anxiety and occasional sleep problems. I started giving her CBD drops and she’s sleeping like a baby.

EDIT Also great as an alternative to popping otc pain pills.

I want to try it, but I'm interviewing for job currently and some of them require drug test. And CBD oil can still have trace elements of THC that will show up on a screen. I know people it's happened to. I'm going to try CBD oil after I land a new job.

I use cbd on occasion. It does seem to help me fall asleep, but doesn’t help with waking up wide awake a few hours later.

Give melatonin a try. I’ve had good success with it and I sleep deeply.

Ambien? I hate prescription drugs. What’s the root cause? Do you drink coffee, tea, or caffeinated sodas? Chocolate?

I'm not a doctor, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Over the years I’ve tried it all. I tried ambien and some of its relatives. My wife woke me while I was standing in the garage trying to open the card door, when I was standing in our closet about to urinate in a dirty clothes basket because apparently I thought I was in the bathroom, etc. I’m working with a sleep specialist now but nothing they’ve had me do has had more than a very fleeting effect including nasal surgery, bipap machine, etc. Makes me very miserable at times.

DIdnt work for me. 

I think we all have different reasons why we dont sleep through the night.

For me, bad back and rotator cuff issues, usually one of them wakes me up, and once awake, visit the potty and try to get back to sleep and usually more than once a night.
