vs. BLUE JAYS, 9/24

Recommended Posts

Bundy cruising along at 52 pitches in 5 innings. He's witnessed too many times the 'pen blowing leads and has decided to take things into his own hands. At this rate he may go the complete distance or at least 8 innings. Then they should bring in Wilkerson and hold the damage to 3-4 runs. Hopefully, we will still have enough of a lead then.

Still leaves the bad D problem unfixed.

Other than the HR allowed Bundy has been perfect and pitch efficient, too.

one hit -  a home run to the #9 hitter.  I hope for his sake that he doesn't complete this game with a nine-inning one-hit outing.  That would make a guy sick.

This is where Bundy usually falls apart.  After the fifth inning.

Doesn't he already have a one hitter...a bunt?

Like Eades last night. Game-losing HR to the weakest bat in the lineup.

Trey Mancini is just getting warmed up.  3-3 today after winning AL Player of the Week last week.  He's not ready for the season to end.

Trey's OPS is up to .897. I know, when you factor in the juiced ball, meh. 😉

Literally?

His OPS is now .899.

He just won AL player of the Week:

"For the week, Mancini slashed an incredible .462/.484/.846 line."
