Not sure what they are doing yet. Heard some rumors but nothing definite. Kids Free has about 200 tickets you can buy now per game. Some have less like the first Yankee game about 100 or so. Not only Upper Deck is blocked off. One section behind home plate and one bleacher section for each game and a few other sections. Also as mentioned section 68 and 70.
That's a nice loophole for the Red Sox. I guess if you sign a guy to a minor league or split contract for $70M it doesn't count against the luxury tax as long as the guy is in the minors. Rare occurrence, especially under today's rules, but good for them finding yet another way to exploit their massive resources.
Thanks, Paul! As a sports fan I've been conditioned to hear male broadcasters in football, baseball and basketball for all of my life, so forgive me if I don't like hearing a female in the booth. On the flip side of the coin, I find it weird when there's a male sideline reporter but I'm sure you don't have an issue with that.
Freely admitted it to being sexist, backward, unprogressive, but then you had to call it dumb, thanks for that! I'll strive to make sure that my personal tastes are more in line with progressive social agendas at all times.
We need a microscope to tell the difference between Herrera and the other replacement level guys (literally) that we have picked up. I don't see any reason to get excited about any one in particular. In the roster thread I went with Urias but could easily be Herrera or Irena if he passes through.
