Most seem to think Georgia's Emerson Hancock is the best. He does possess Electric stuff. He fell flat on the season opener, but rebounded nicely in his second outing.
The other top arms include Asa Lacy (my favorite), JT Ginn (currently shelved with arm "soreness", uh-oh), Reid Detmers and Tanner Burns.
To me, Hancock and Lacy and Detmers seem like future Ace pitchers... Lacy and Detmers are lefties.
It boils down to pitching for me. Our starting pitching is the worst so we're probably the odds on favorite to be the worst. Cincy doesn't even belong in this discussion anymore. It's a four team fight.
In all seriousness, after reading Roch's interview my first thought was that his off season would have been better spent doing yoga and gaining flexibility than lifting weights and gaining 25 lbs of muscle.
