Summerfield?    What’s the oldest average population in Florida, 90?   My buddy’s only 62.

Does Florida become a ghost town in the summer?  I have only been there in Winter.

No.  It's just so hot that the old folks don't leave the house until October.

Sumter County comprises the heart of The Villages, 80, 000 old farts driving golf carts recklessly and partying until 9 each night!

And with any luck at all, this year will pass without his post battle lament.

I suspect several times this season I’ll glance out at our bullpen and softly mutter, “Would it were O’Day.”

Guess I’m reading Shakespeare on a Monday morning.

You have to hunt for the right link, but you can watch the movie for free on YouTube. It is a brilliant movie. Absolutely brilliant I remember watching it with my father, and when I pointed out to him that Richard Bryer The TV show, “good neighbors” played the part of Bardolph, he was amazed and delighted and a bit miffed that he didn’t recognize him through his make up, and he went and told my mom, “did you know Richard Bryer played Bardolph??!!”

If you’re not into British comedy, the name means nothing, But it’s a sweet memory of mine.
