JJ Hardy is back!

Recommended Posts

Being a guest instructor at ST sounds like one of the cushiest jobs there is.  Fart around, help some guys out, tell war stories.

Glad to see they're bringing some good players back into the fold, though.

I’m curious how much they make doing it. Does sound like a fun job.

I always liked Jeff Conine. He was solid and dependable - especially in 2001.  Even at 40 years of age he put up respectable numbers for us.  .265/.320/.726

He was one of the guys unceremoniously dismissed by the Marlins when Jeter took over. Glad he was able to hang out with the O's as a guest instructor.

He was and always will be one of my favorite O's. He had more non-home run RBI's than Barry Bonds in 2001, when Bonds hit 72 bombs.

Excellent to hear all of these, but especially Niner! I always liked him a lot.

JJ is probably the most important and helpful of all of them tho.

You mean Rick "The Greatest Catcher Of His Era" Dempsey?

His "era" being 2 good weeks in October 1983?
