On this day in 1970, the Orioles beat the New York Yankees in walk off fashion again by a score of 9-8.

Moe Drabowski, who relieved starter Dave McNally, was the beneficiary of the Orioles comeback.

Trailing 8-6 entering the 9th inning, Frank Robinson homered to lead off the frame.  Brooks Robinson and Davey Johnson both singled and Andy Etchebarren walked tp load the bases.  Terry Crowley and Elrod Hendricks both struck out which set the stage for Don Buford's game winning 2 RBI single.
