Means first pitch was a 95 MPH fastball. He only hit 95 in 3 games last year.

He then hit 96, which he has never hit.

I think the guns are more accurate than they used to be, so I don't think it is just a fast gun.

I can't help but feel like the Yankees are doing something cheat-y in how they get these cheap early baserunners. Catcher's interference, now "HBPs". One that didn't hit him at all, and one that he basically put his arm out over the plate.

Not much of an arm for DJ. Unless he was conceding the run and keeping the runner at 2nd.

For those that are watching - what is up with Means?  Two HBPs, lots of balls out of the zone....  what gives?

Would have to have a hose to catch the runner in that situation.

Nice block by Pedro!

Rust from the layoff?  Hyped up and over throwing?

That is Dwight Smith, Jr. in left. DJ is not in the lineup.

Mean's command is a bit off but the HBP's were cheapies. One grazed Judge's jersey (I guess) and the other hit torres's elbow as he swung

I thought I read that by Roch. So NO arm whatsoever. 😛
