Ugh, That did not look or sound like a homer off the bat.

He's not pitching great, but he's certainly not been as bad as the results/line would indicate

See, don’t get that. He throws a FB by him and comes back with a CH?

Dumb

Severino call the change?

Actually Smith, Jr.,  Mullins is in right.

Neither of them has a worthwhile arm, so take your pick.

Would be hard pressed to be as bad as the line would indicate.

Can we just forfeit all home games against the Yankees until 2023?  What have we lost, 16 straight to them in our own park?  No matter how bad you are, no major league team should ever lose that many straight to another team at home.  I thought the 0 for 9 in 1996 was bad.  Yeesh.

Means looks like the LH version of Steve Johnson. Better command, but he nibbles. And his FB, even with the better velocity, is straight.

Hi all!

If Means turns out to be a one year wonder, I’m going to be very sad.

Meanwhile, Severino remains yucky.

I'm not sure this is evidence one way or another. If anything, his velo is a good sign for his longer-term profile (less argument that last year was "smoke and mirrors"). Hopefully it's just rust.

Losing them all 9-0 would lower the team's ERA.
