We didn't sweep a series last year, not even a 2 game series.

Our last sweep was over Toronto in August 2018, as Patrick pointed out in another thread.

A win today would put us over 1/4 of the way to the 19.5 wins we were projected by Vegas to win.

Sulser is coming back.

I'm surprised.   But he is in line for the save.

I am a little as well. Maybe with off day and rain coming Tuesday, Hyde is being aggressive.

Ha! I guess Hyde believes in the save rule.

Leaving Sulser in for the save opportunity. Hopefully there will be a quick hook if anyone gets on, shouldn't wait for two base runners to create another save situation.

Well he had two guys up. Sure it will be Givens.

Assuming the double-header won't be on Tuesday, given the rain likelihood.

Might be doubleheaders on Wednesday and Thurday.   28 innings of baseball.

Any chance of back to back DH Wednesday and Thursday? I mean old days 27 innings is 3 games.  That would be 28 innings.

    • This is the Orioles' fourth losing season in a row. Someone who's been a fan for 50 years undoubtedly remembers that the team went 14 seasons in a row with losing records from 1998 through 2011. Then the next year they made the playoffs and won their first round game and all of a sudden it was a lot of fun again. The good times will come again.  Can't guarantee it'll be next year, but they will come.
    • You’re right about some things, wrong about others. watch and see if things get better. I think they will.
    • I think at the moment, we get the 8th pick
