On the topic of this thread, I do think it says something to the O's about their approach. It's quite possible that they're using the wrong pitch mix in specific situations. I'm far from certain that's the case, but a differential that's out of step with all of the rest of the (also bad) peripheral statistics probably means *something* I'd think.

Vs. 8th: .734 (.671)
Vs. 9th: .754 (.644)
So on average at the three spots they’re .088 worse than league average. Overall, at all spots, they were .087 worse than league average. So, about the same. Terrible everywhere.
I would be pleasantly surprised if Willem made Delmarva. I'm not sure why it took him so long to get started and why they shut him down so quickly, but his struggles in his limited playing time suggest he might be more of a long term project vs a fast mover. My guess he will be on one of the FCL teams next year.
