Tuesday, May 11: John Means and O's visit Citi Field for the first of two games

Recommended Posts

We know who's pitching the 9th.

Question is: Plutko or Scott for the 8th.

Batters due for Mets:

   Pinch hitter for the P

RH hitting 2Bman who probably can't be hit for since he already replaced McNeil

   Switch hitting Lindor

OMG! There has been a LONG line of 35's since Moose.

DP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They’re all disrespectful. He’s a Hall of Famer who spent over half his career in Baltimore. If you’re gonna retire numbers, that’s one you retire.

Horrible strategy there. You have to know they walk Pedro and you would have to take Means out. I would just have let Rio and Pedro swing away.

Agreed. Giving away an out and removing your best pitcher after 70+ pitches to get the bat in the hands of someone hitting under .200 doesn’t seem to be very well thought out. At least they got a run in.

Maybe if he had decided to wear an O's hat when he went into the Hall.

Obviously his time with the Orioles wasn't that important to him.

FWIW, they are bringing the only LH bat on their bench in to replace Almora.

So the pinch hitter for the pitcher starti g the bottom of the inning has to be a righty, as is the second batter.

So probably we stick with Plutko for 2 more batters
