If you shared this comment at pinstripe alley, The resulting furor would be a beautiful thing to experience. I would imagine that most of the people posting over there are already beside themselves with rage, I would not mind adding som fuel to the fire.
You are right, I should explain. There are some advantages to being up for a few weeks. The Norfolk season runs through September 19 right now. If they can make a playoff run, that would be more important to get that experience than to come be a part of the worst team in MLB. Elias has steadfastly said that he will not compromise the development of young players.
No I reject both your comments.
I used your own words to justify my comment, and I clarified that you were refuting something I did not say, and the argument that you was made in defense of our catchers is a matter of record and not a straw man.
However, going around in circles is never productive, so I’m going to stop here. See you at the game.
When I look at Mullins' stats I'm struck by his extreme Home / Away splits:
H - .362. / 438 / .669 / 1.108
A - .284 / .351 / .418 / .769
Does it look like he has a different approach when playing at Camden Yards vs. on the road? If so, I haven't seen it. I know CY has the rep as a bandbox, but not that much of a bandbox.
Yep. I am not saying your idea is bad, just that they will likely not do it. Especially not Grayson, or any other young pitcher.
Catching wise, I think they want to get a strong look at Ciuffo and Cumberland. I can see either one, or both, coming up this year. If Severino does not pick it up soon, he'll join Sisco as a DFA. Who knows, maybe Adley somehow forces their hand, but there is no advantage in his development to come up.
