Has Means ever had a team context stage close to this?

There's the no-hitter and of course his wonderful introductory moment to me when he broke Giancarlo Stanton, but I think today it by a good deal.

Appropriately, Mountaineers football starting in 300 hour this afternoon too.

Five 100 mph exit velocities allowed in 12 Batters Faced won't help Means' xwOBA.

xwOBA percentiles of Orioles SP - last 4 years

2021: Means 56, Akin 15, Harvey 13, Lopez 12, Zimmermann 4, Kremer 2

2020: Means 86, Akin 43, Kremer 29, Lopez 15, Cobb 9

2019: Means 61, Bundy 52

2018: Bundy 30, Cobb 16, Cashner 5

Ben just with the nice line Means was an 11th round pick from WVU, and Manoah was the 11th overall pick from WVU.

I HATE to compliment Toronto in any way but I'll say this... They look like they "want it" a LOT more than Boston did. They're fired up.

They’re a young team and hungry to make the playoffs. While Cito still sucks, I’d rather see the Blue Jays in the playoffs over pink hat nation. Especially now that Jose Bautista is gone.

Ok, a question for the crowd. When anyone can come in to relieve Means, why Wade? He did badly, but that doesn’t necessarily mean anything.

There aren't that many choices, given we used about 6 guys yesterday, and it was early in the game so Hyde wanted some length, and Wade has started all year

I know this is a dead horse but why can't you just ONCE, when you question a move, say what you think the alternative should be?  Why couldn't you say who you would bring in?  It would make your question a lot more worthwhile if you would state what you would have done differently.

I didn’t have a problem with the move, you shouldn’t make that inference. I was just asking whether his coming in meant anything beyond itself.

Notice I said that he did badly, but that doesn’t mean by itself. If I had a problem with bringing him in, I’d have mentioned his performance in a more disparaging way, but I didn’t.

As he takes a perfect game into the 6th I'll ask again: why hasn't Tanner Houck been in the Boston rotation all year?  I think he would have been better than Richards or Perez.
