I like him, lefty ace all-american. I really like this strategy of getting guys who were studs at smaller schools in these late rounds. At this point of the draft, you're trying to find that one diamond in the rough, while also filling out your minor league rosters.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - With the full list of postseason baseball awards now revealed, Eckerd's Dillon McCollough ends his career as the most decorated player in program history.

McCollough earned First Team All-American honors with both the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) and American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) on Friday to cap an unprecedented run of awards for the senior left-hander.

These two accolades go along with NCBWA Second Team All-American, Sunshine State Conference Pitcher of the Year and First Team All-Conference, and Pitcher of the Year and First Team All-Region with the NCBWA, D2CCA, and ABCA.

That adds up to 11 postseason awards in all for McCollough, who helped lead Eckerd to its first conference title since 1981 and first national tournament appearance since 1987.
