The Orioles announce they've claimed infielder Rio Ruiz, a fourth-round pick in Mike Elias' first draft in Houston, off waivers from the Atlanta Braves. Reliever Ryan Meisinger was waived and claimed by the St. Louis Cardinals, keeping two open 40-man roster spots for Rule 5.
