The Orioles announced they have claimed INF Richard Ureña off waivers from the Toronto Blue Jays and DFA'd INF Pat Valaika. Ureña, 23, has played SS, 2B, 3B (and one game in LF and one on the mound) in parts of 3 seasons for Toronto. Slashed .253/.300/.336 in 263 PAs.
