  1. 109 MPH EV and .830 xBA on that out to Kjerstad. For once, the Orioles got a little lucky.
  2. Umpire missed a close strike 3, but Perez coming on and walking the first guy is not a great sign.
  3. It's not PTSD, it's the reality that this team has found more ways to lose than win over the last 3 months. Let's hope they can hold on.
  4. Yesterday's game he had a scorched line drive single to CF.
  5. With only 5 hits and .191 XBA, it's not like they have broken out. The Holliday two-run clutch single is really the difference right now. The fact they have not done much since is not surprising though.
  6. As my 3rd grade teacher would say, "Ring the bells, close the schools, name it a national holiday!"
  7. For once I walked away to do something at work and the Orioles actually do something good.!
  8. Man in scoring position and no outs. Orioles kyptonite!
  9. That's assuming they can stop them from scoring at the same time. lol
  10. Maybe, maybe not. Not sure if getting a rusty Westburg and Urias back is going to complete change this anti-clutch, awful hitting philosophy team. i hope so, but it's not like we can just count as an absolute.
  11. The Orioles have a way bringing out the best in the other team. Maybe it's because they are playing like the White Sox lately, but you can't possibly feel good about anything to do with this team's chances in the playoffs right now.
  12. Since July 1st, the Orioles are 31-37 and since the Trading deadline when Elias was supposed to make the team better they've gone 19-24 (.441). Now grant it the team lost Westburg and Grayson as well as Eflin for a little bit, but what can't be swept under the rug is that Elias traded a decent part of his minor league league prospects and the team has done worse. The acquisitions of Rogers, Jimenez and Soto have not improved the team. Eflin has kept them from being even worse and we have him for next year, and the same goes for Dominguez. Hopefully Soto will figure it out or Elias wasted two pitching prospects (Chace being probably being the one with the most upside of any pitcher traded).
  13. First off, welcome to the Hangout. It's hard to see this team doing anything in the playoffs as they've pretty much imploded this September when we hoped they would turn it back on. I mean, we never know, but unless a miracle turn around occurs, whoever gets the Orioles in the first round is going to have it fairly easy.
  14. Ha, somebody had a pic of Rivera. Pretty much this is me towards this team right now!
  15. Heard some fans booing there. Can't blame them. I wouldn't pay a dime to see this team right now.
  16. Wait, are we saying the Orioles showed no life at all to come back? Weird.
  17. You would think. I'm honestly shocked that McCann would have his hand there. The guy on 1st was slow two, but either way, there is no reason not to have you hand tucked. Maybe a brain fart?
  18. Would you be happy if you were hitting the way he's hitting and the team has been losing the way they have been losing?
  19. Dan Quisenberry had a higher release point. Good Lord.
  20. Eh, he hit it well. Just the wrong part of the park. That's a grand slam in 7 ballparks.
  21. This is is one of my worse fan experiences for sure. Even during the dark years they lost a lot, but we expected them to lose, and even then they didn't look utterly incapable of hitting.
  22. Shocking.. lol This team has zero clutch ability.
