While Hyde is not perfect, it's not his fault has has Jimenez, Rivera, Soto, Slater on his roster and two rookie position players hitting like pitchers. He's also lost 4/5th of his expected rotation going into the season, the closer his GM gave him had to be released and his two of his three best relievers (Coloumbe and Webb) have spent significant time on the IL. So no, I don't think he's in any hotseat at all, nor should he be.

I sure hope Cano is just being given a bit of a break since the Orioles rally haven't needed him much with as bad as they've been playing.

Unfortunately, it was time. Too late in the season to see if he fix himself and no way was he going to be counted on in any big situations the rest of the year or the playoffs. I think he was a good guy who was at the end of the his career.

Remember when a team had a manager, hitting coach, pitching coach, 1st base coach and third base coach only? Now they have this many coaches and the team can't hit, has poor fielding and poor fundamentals.

When you hire a guy who was a highschool teacher-coach with one year experience in professional baseball as a coach, and another with what, three years as a minor league hitting coach, you don't exactly have guys with a lot of experience with helping guys get out of slumps. The Orioles have gone to the technocoach without offsetting that with actual professional hitting coaches with real experience.

His value did not go up. Maybe get him with a some real hitting coaches and see what happens. This swing from the hip, upper cut, trying to pull everything crap is awful.

That was a bad call with this team.
