Best chance within the system for me? Stiven Martinez, but there's a long way to go to have that conversation. Honeycutt, even if he hits his ceiling wouldn't end up the #1 prospect because of his age and lack of pedigree. It will be hard for drafted players to become the #1 overall unless Elias goes back to drafting high ceiling high school hitters and pay them overslot like they did with Gunnar and Mayo.

Creed Willems is the only real "prospect" heading there. Cunnigham looks good in a uniform and has some good speed for his size, but his slow bat limits his power and hit tool.

Maybe with no expectation, they will feel less pressure? We have to hope so. I do feel like we are playing with house money this year after the way they've played over the last 81 games.

I do think they'll be able to relax and possibly play better, but that pressure ramps back up in the playoffs.
