I don't think Burnes is worth the salary he is asking for. Before Bradish got hurt, he was a better pitcher than Burnes.
With a 4-0 lead to a weak lineup, there was no excuse to blow the lead.

If GRod is out for extended time, I can't see them having a chance to catch the Yankees, and I wonder if we will make the playoffs. We can't win with scrubs replacement pitchers with 4 starters out.

The throwing, for me, is a secondary issue I’ve noticed.
Watch ball 4 to Lane Thomas in 1st as an example. He’s not bringing ball into zone consistently. He’s just catching. Not receiving with a purpose and intent.I blame the umpire for missing the correct strike zone, not the catcher framing. The umpire is supposed to watch the ball not that catcher's mitt!!
