How about Mark Belanger?
-
Cano looks all washed up. He was horrible with the Mets. He is so bad the Mets sacrificed 37 mil to get rid of him. He is about as good as Owens.

The killer in this game was the double play in the 6th to end the O's final rally

Monday, April 18: Orioles begin 10 game road trip in Oakland

Amazing! 2 bad plays and the O's unravel. -
Brandon Hyde the lover of removing pitchers that in their groove. I can't see what the O's see in Brandon Hyde.

How much longer do I have suffer? How much longer do I have to wait to see their ready prospects? -
In the last few years, the Royals, Tigers and the O's were all bad teams 100 or more loss seasons. Why has the Tigers, / the Royals, even the Marlins improved so much based on wins and the O's stay the same? Also why is Brandon Hyde on his 4th year when he has not lost less than 100?

Matt Harvey close to minor league deal. (Update: signed)

What angers me in the Harvey MLBTR article, it says the O's don't expect to win!! Why charge fans if they are not trying to win. That is crap. -
Tommy Davis, the Orioles' first DH, passes away at 83

I will always remember the clutch winning hit he got in 1974 to help O's to the playoffs. He was a great clutch hitter for the O's. RIP. He dropped a fly ball in the 1966 World Series that helped the O's too. My childhood hero. -
Tanner Scott and Cole Sulser traded to Marlins

We need prospects, not more money in P.A's pocket! -
I agree, but we got to try or always be a last place team. We need a real leader. Chris Davis / Ubaldo they were not leaders, only self serving. Elias had Corea when he was in Houston.

https://clutchpoints.com/orioles-news-carlos-correas-massive-offer-from-baltimore-revealed/ Rumor Mill. He'd be a star to build on. I don't care about how much money PA has to spend, the O's need to be bold instead of being so cautious forever.

If the CBA is agreed, will the new lotterry draft take effect 2022 or 2023? If it is 2022 draft, then the O's will not get their 2022 MLB first round pick?
-
Does anyone feel the new proposed CBA draft lottery will hurt the Orioles? There is no proof teams and players tank. Players don't care about the draft, they just want to stay in the MLB and not be sent to the minors for poor performance. 6 months ago Scott Boras accused teams are tanking. Boras is the one who proposed the new draft rules to change.. Boras is one who hurts baseball.

I think the O's will be respectful next year, around a .500 team next year. Their prospects will be ready. I do hope they can keep Mancini and Means to be leaders on a young team.
-
The O's future depends on how their minor league pitching prospects develope. I know I am speaking the obvious. I am hoping to hear all your opinions on this. I worry that they may struggle like Akin.

https://www.mlb.com/news/mlb-rumors-trades-and-signings Bauer projects to be the best starting pitcher on the free-agent market, and he could hardly have put up a better showcase year, finishing the regular season with a 1.73 ERA over 11 starts and following up with a dominant 12-strikeout start against the Braves in the NL Wild Card Series. Sources who spoke to SNY's John Harper believe that Bauer could aim for a contract in the neighborhood of Stephen Strasburg's seven-year, $245 million deal with the Nationals a year ago. The outspoken Bauer figures to dominate the free-agent conversation, and he has already fielded pitches from various fanbases on Twitter. The Dodgers, Yankees, Padres, Braves, Blue Jays, Angels, Orioles and, yes, the Astros are among the teams Bauer has mentioned on his Twitter account in the past few weeks, though perhaps that Houston mention was tongue-in-cheek

https://www.mlb.com/news/2021-mlb-draft-order-set The O's are getting the #5 pick in the 2021 MLB draft. What do you all think?
-
Due to COVID 19 I am asking will the O 's draft / all other MLB teams draft order be the same as the regular draft? Also it seems the O's got cheated when they had the number 2 pick and only got 6 picks when there is usually 40 picks. Too many bad teams worse than the O's this year for them to get a good pick. What do you all think?
