  1. Nowhere close to a Texas lineup. Unless you have elite pitching, you got to score 5 runs a game.
  2. It should have been Baumann to start the nineth, with no one on to keep it tied, and Kimbrel to save it in the tenth.
  3. Real world, 30 ab, 3 hits, .100.
  4. Pretty sure the later will repeat it self, and again.
  5. Hope Elias lets this play a little while, we have the position players to win right now. It's the pitching that has to be strengthened, not sure what Bradish or Means are going to be. I'm hoping Elias is just slow playing Means because of weaker schedule to start season, Bradish is scary.
  6. They have options on the positional side of things, less on the pitching.
  7. Out of sight, out of mind.
  8. All this talk is nice but the bigger issue is the starting pitching. If Albert Suarez is the first option when Irvin is terrible then you do have problems. I go with the thought that neither Bradish or Means will be that helpful this year.
  9. Will new ownership step up and get a Snell or Montgomery, or wait and trade prospects for Cease? Give Snell 3/100 m, or Montgomery 4/100m, time to be bold.
  10. Isn't there a game scheduled against the Pirates, made up of all prospects?
  11. I hope the Orioles pitchers watched Corbin Burnes pitch down in the zone tonight and made it look easy. Except for Gibson, they all seem to be up in the zone far to much.
  12. Even without the Mullins injury, teams are going to line up lefties to face the Orioles. That lineup today was bad.
  13. A thought, watch the games, that's what we did in the good ol' days.
  14. I don't get why every hitter has to see Bautista's splitter. Pretty much all the hits off Bautista were on his splitter, Tucker had to figure it was coming, I'm sitting there knowing it is coming. Not sure there are bad 100 mph fastballs, but I know there are bad splitters.
  15. Not a lot of guys have good arms in the outfield these days. Especially in rightfield, too many runners easily going first to third on singles to right. Years ago everyone knew there were three or four guys you couldn't run on.
  16. Since we didn't score against the Royals maybe a bat would have been a smarter move. As I recall the bullpen wasn't the problem.
  17. Smoke and mirrors will only get you so far, Elias has his work cut out this off season.
  18. Can't bring back same old gang next year, need big upgrade on offense. Lot of wins done by smoke and mirrors, won't happen next year.
  19. Remember when Jacoby Ellsbury used get on like 10 times a year on catcher's interference.
  20. I'm still trying to figure out why the White Sox have the third baseman standing on the foul line, good intell I guess.
  21. Power is what this team lacks right now, no one is a threat to the opposition . Everyone talks about the wall in left, but right field didn't change, have to take advantage of the home park. The lineup is and has been short on left hand bats forever. Pretty sure that's why Elias inpart drafted Rutschman, Henderson, Stowers, Kjerstad, Cowser, Holliday and Beavers, be nice to watch some flyballs be lobbed up on the flag court for a crucial three run shot.
