It’s like the proverbial NBA where you need three complementary studs. If you find three outstanding bullpen guys you are halfway there. Unlike the NBA, the bullpen guys don’t need to actually work effectively together.

Excepting Palmer and McDonald, the current O’s broadcasters are solidly mediocre. If I wasn’t an O’s fanatic I would never tune in…and I randomly listen to games just because I like the broadcasters. Thankfully I got to watch/Listen to Jon Miller and Dave Flemming call the game on the MLB App.

On a random aside, I was listening to Rick Monday the other day relate how we could tell exactly what a teammate was going to throw even from the outfield. The pitcher was incredulous until Rick—as he claims—“wrote down” all his guesses and gave him the list.
