Yeah, the Blue Jays are a better team than us. I think our only hope is that both wild cards come out of the east, or the Yankees totally collapse.

Snider is .006 away from his career BA, and is actually OBPing better than his career numbers. How is that not approaching his career numbers? You don't think he could muster a .710 OPS for the rest of the year? Just because a guy is having a great year doesn't mean the entire year will be great. He could still have a good line at the end of the year while not living up to the .880 OPS he's had so far.

Snider hitting closer to his career numbers and Paredes regressing wouldn't surprise me in the least.

Hey, another Richmonder transplanted to Brooklyn, huh? When did you move up? I've been here for about a year. I've already managed to catch Jim Johnson blow a save at Yankee Stadium, certainly not an experience I wish on anyone.

You sure are quick to name-call for someone who apparently didn't know that Catfish Hunter died a DECADE ago and that Rob Dibble was a fairly famous reliever for many years.

Not saying I'm particularly torn up about missing out on Tex, but he is better than Huff, and will be good for much longer. It seems like Davis was, once again, speaking about the present state of the O's rather than the bigger picture.
