  1. If those aren't snakes, perhaps you should see someone.
  2. I think developing prospective #4 starters in order to trade them at the deadline is a defensible strategy. Maybe he catches on right away in the big leagues, or, maybe it takes him three years to figure it out. I don't see the O's giving a guy three years to figure out how to be a #4. You trade for that guy or find him on a field in Mexico (like Miguel Gonzalez). So, I'm not all upset about giving up Davies. Whether or not Parra is the right guy we will have to see.
  3. You really think he might do that, even though it would leave a huge hole in the rotation and make it impossible to compete? Or, are you being sarcastic? I can't tell.
  4. Somehow, I think the Tigers would prefer to deal Cespedes elsewhere rather than have to pitch to him for the next three games. I am assuming there will be other offers out there of equal or greater value to the O's.
  5. Here we go. Rangers 5 - Yankees 2
  6. No, there doesn't seem to be a Fox game today. O's game is also the FREE game on MLB.TV tonight.
  7. Yes, but since we lost all the games David Lough started in CF, anyone could have done it. Filling in only matters if we win.
  8. I'm getting a bit bummed by the prospect of winning tonight and coming to the end of our streak. Can it be extended?
  9. Buck makes his major league debut as a player.
  10. I would like to see them figure out a way to do it. In another thread I proposed letting Cabrera go, since Flash can play SS and Pearce can cover 2B.
  11. Bundy for Markakis. Book it.
  12. Matt the Leash Shortener reporting for duty.
  13. Lots could happen when Wieters is added tomorrow. I want to see Givens up.
  14. Adam Jones scored all three runs today. Praise Adam Jones!
  15. I've been calling him that since spring training. Cybaldo is the man.
  16. We are 40% there. Next man up is Cybaldo. I feel confident.
  17. Palmer said it was a splitter that started outside the zone and ended up in the zone.
  18. This can't be. Everyone knows they did not improve the team during the off-season because Duquette was being fitted for snowshoes and refused to return phone calls.
  19. Starting the season with 19 games in the AL East, it means more than it would most seasons.
  20. Coming into the series, the Red Sox had been held to fewer than four runs only once in this young season. This weekend they haven't scored four runs in a game yet.
  21. I agree. Plus, they probably want him to get as many ABs as possible.
  22. Could be. I only saw the travel squad.
  23. Don't know if he's starting. He's listed on the travel squad.
