1.

You still around hippi?

 2. Mike Yastrzemski seemed to hit a wall, both offensively and defensively, at Bowie. It happens to a lot of young players. The good ones figure out a way to break through and move on. I like this kid because he is definitely talented and motivated. I think he figures it out and will be in Norfolk by mid-season next year. I wonder if the Orioles will assign him to play in the Arizona Fall League?
 3. All I know is that since coming to the Orioles, Parra has morphed from solid a .328/.369 /.886 baseball player to a .214/.283/.616 wimp.
 4. Toronto lost Boston lost Tampa lost And the Orioles can't pull away in the AL East because the freakin' Yankees keep winning!! What's up with that? They were supposed to be old, depleted, and not have any pitching. Obviously, someone lied!!
 5. Yeah.....Brian Roberts screwed up a perfectly good night - the O's 5-3 win over Tampa Bay - by hitting that solo HR in top of the 9th to give the Yankees a 4-3 over the Angels. Now we are back in a virtual tie for 1st place. SUCKS!!
 6. Well then, we are 1/6th of the way there!
 7. Or maybe just out of the Orioles organization. Good pitching really hasn't been a strong point for the Orioles in many years.
 8.

Happy bday fellow jan 9th birthdayer! (That's a word, right?)

 9.

I just worked as a writer for Kaleidoscope magazine. It was a publication of the United Methodist Church. I spent the first 10 years of my life absorbing hell, fire, and brimstone sermons delivered by a Johnny Cash “Man-in-Black” imposter, a preacher named Kermit Blevins, at the Free Will Baptist Church in Piney Creek, NC. When my parents came north, we somehow settled in the old First Presbyterian Church in Ellicott City. In college, I tried a few other churches, and again after I got out of the army, but like you, I finally realized it wasn’t organized religion that I was seeking. I found Jesus, or he found me, and we’ve been cool ever since.

 10.

Are you a Methodist? Or just work for them? I am/was a Confirmed Methodist. Formed my beliefs and salvation at an early age. The Bible is my church now, and you wouldn't even want to hear the whole story. I don't like churches or denominations anymore. Wherever God the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit and ME are gathered together...

 11. We still have .... .....4 games against the Rays .....7 games against the Yankees .....9 games against the Red Sox I think its a largely a matter of the Orioles holding their playoff fate in their own hands.
 12.

MY GOD hippi!!! Jesus is Just Alright? Almost a core song to me!

 13.

Matt "Nuke LaLoosh" Hobgood gets a neg rep..........seriously?

 14. I officially became an Orioles fan on Nov 17, 1953, when it was announced that the St. Louis Browns were now the Baltimore Orioles. I had been to a few International League Oriole's games, but until that day, I would go down to old Griffith Park, in DC, and root for the Senators.
