I don't see how he can be on the post season roster. There are plenty of arms for a short series anyway. I felt so bad for the team yesterday and that was certainly not the first time he has had nothing. Work on things in the offseason and we'll see you at ST.

The ball does seem to be more lively this year. I didn't see anyone mention all of the armor that batters wear now. Make that elbow guard illegal and let's see how many batters crowd the plate. I really don't understand why he was in the lineup today. Sale was mowing everyone down but it seems like a no brainer to sit CD today. You could make a case for that being every day I guess.

It is historically bad. What really needs to happen at this point is PA needs to man up and tell the FO "this one is on me. Straight out of MY pocket. We will not let it continue to haunt us for 10 more years." DFA him and be done with it.

A few stipulations: If I simply grade the trades without considering that they should have been made 2 years ago, I'd say C-C+. All things considered I would say D-D+.

When the O's are on they are fun to watch. When they are off it's very bad. Ugly to watch. That manufactured run to win that last game was a rare thing. Almost zero small ball.
