Yeah, I know. Way too early to predict but they don't have an issue making one.
This was not behind a paywall so you can see the entire first round.

At the top of the 2nd inning, Basallo walked and on the next pitch, I saw the catching throwing to 2nd base on a steal. So it wasn't Basallo running, apparently, Valdez PR for him and Basallo stayed in the game as DH.
Only in spring training can you knockout the opposing pitcher and then bring in someone to relieve them and have the original pitcher come back into the game in the 2nd.
Kikuchi started off the game k-ing Gunnar looking and I thought maybe Kikuchi was looking like a much different pitcher. Then the offense kicked in and I'm no longer worried now.
I'll give it a shot when the regular season starts. Thanks! At the beginning of spring training, I was able to view the games on MLB.tv. I haven't been able to see the games now because it appears the T-Mobile subscription has expired until they allow renewals later this month.
I do the same thing but when I use Nord during those blackout games, MLB.tv still won't let me get around it. Can I ask which site you're connecting to? I just can't listen to the goobers on YES network, SNY is tolerable but I'd rather listen to the MASN team.
As a reminder, T-Mobile subscribers have been offered the MLB.tv package for several seasons. There's been no word yet if they're doing it for the 2024 season. The activation only considers the regular season and not the pre-season games if they do offer it.
