  1. I wish we had a couple of pitchers who are "ready to be promoted" !!!
  2. ...and in every sport I ever played which was year-round through high school, my brother or I always requested to wear #5 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Very well-said Roy. I honestly think that Brooks was about as nice of a person as the world has ever seen. I got to meet him in Bel Air to get his autograph on his poster back in 1968. He was incredibly nice and even signed to me as a wanna-be Harlem Globetrotter back then (that phase of mine lasted about a month but getting Brooks autograph was right in the middle of that month). What a nice human being.
  4. I dumped cable 2 months ago after 33 years of overpaying Comcrap. Love it - saving $110 per month
  5. I cut the cord a couple months ago. Love it! Saving over $100 a month and seeing everything I saw before other than MASN.
  6. Did we really need to bring in Baker for the second consecutive night? Esp to a fastball-hitting team? While I don't know the bullpen that well, after the heat that Grayson brought, should we have brought in a more off-speed capable reliever?
  7. I would consider trading Cano for 2 quality middle relievers if possible. Use the all-star status to bring return I expect to get flamed for this suggestion ....
  8. This may have been discussed in another topic stream in the last couple years... was Elias's approach in Houston to draft bats and buy/trade for pitchers? That is mostly what is going on here? I don't have a problem with it if it works. I do note that something like 11 of the MLB active roster of 26 are usually pitchers, so they matter .....
  9. Only 4 MLB teams have more losses than the Orioles?
  10. Respectfully LOL at the subject of this thread. Only 3 MLB teams have more losses than the Orioles.
  11. No. They have not turned the corner. Four years and counting.
  12. I concur with my earlier comment.
  13. Peace Moose. Each one of us has an opinion...
