Um, no it doesn't. You're just drunk. In the morning, you will see that they look very different. The only thing they have in common is leaning way, way back. That's it. Other than that, they have zilch in common.

Scully does it all, and he does it all by himself. Nobody like him. Thorne and Palmer are like apples and oranges. Scully is his very own fruit (or something like that).

What in the world are you talking about? The Gnat's announcer is Rob Dibble, one of the Nasty Boys for Cincinnati. Palmer never asked him if he played in the majors. Palmer knows he did. Can't you at least get your story straight? Not only are you bashing Palmer for your own ignorance, you evidently can't even hear what he said.

Don't play dumb. Your goofy idea that Catfish Hunter broadcasts with Palmer came up when you did the same thing 12 days ago. Back then, several people pointed out to you that Catfish Hunter has been dead for some time. But, evidently, you just drop in to bash Palmer but don't bother to read anything or learn anything.

Here's the thing. This is a MESSAGE Board. I DON'T NEED TO KNOW WHAT MAZZONE THINKS TO HAVE AN OPINION!!!!! This is one of those ridiculous posts that basically says, "no one should have any opinion other than the professionals because they know all." I don't know why you're yelling just because I disagreed with you. I didn't say anything even remotely like "no one should have an opinion". You're putting words in my mouth that I never even *thought*, much less *said*. Read what I *actually* said, especially the bolded part: All I did was present some additional facts, and then said that my opinion is that we should trust Leo on this one. We have a guy who has more talent than demonstrated performance, and his main shortcoming is that he can't make it thru 7. I don't see how the BP is gonna help that. But, please excuse me for having an opinion different than yours.

Saying that it's best to move him to the pen is not looking at all the facts either. You're just talking about the facts we know. You're not including the facts we don't know. There could be a bunch of those. We don't know the tiny-but-important details of what he's doing and not doing. We don't know what he's trying and not trying. We don't know exactly what Mazzone wants him to do differently. And we don't know exactly how Mazzone rates him, and we're not gonna know that because Mazzone's not gonna tell us. Here's one thing we do know. In ATL, Mazzone somehow worked with Schuerholz to have brightly-talented guys somehow suddenly disappear to another team when he got fed up with them. But he never said anything bad about them. AFAIK, Leo busts his butt to work with people for as long as he thinks the guy can live up to his expectations of him. AFAIK, Leo doesn't babysit pitchers for very long. I think these facts tell us that the thing to do is trust Leo on this one. I think he knows a whole lot more about *exactly* what "it" is than all-of-us-combined.
