Yep, great circle routes to fly balls. Throwing the ball around the field like little leaguers. The wind was howling so some of the fly balls were an adventure but still. BTW the Pirates had 4 errors so what ever was going on was contagious

There was a second article in the Washington Post this week about the Orioles and MASN being organized for sale. Two of the points they made was no one will take on MASN until the legal issues are solved which will be at least a year. Additionally they stated that there are 3 groups ready to buy the team and that Major League Baseball would prefer that Cal Ripken be in the group that purchases. They reason for sale they point to is the inheritance tax the Angelos family will be subject to, however with a lawyer as smart as Peter I am sure he protected the family from that.

Watched it last night on MLB tv live. Fielding was horrendous which seems to be a spring long symptom. The wind didn’t help. Kremer had a good outing except for 1 pitch which Todd Frazier hammered. Mount castle had two hits one a homer, but his fielding was pretty bad, which the wind didn’t help. Despite the score most of the pitching wasn’t extremely bad except for Abad, but again he had 3 or 4 of the errors behind him. We beat the Pirates in errors as well 5-4.

Connolly’s article also stated 4 Nat’s games on MASN as well. Said there were a possibility of away games and not just Ed Smith stadium. Made we wonder if they are just picking up MLBTV’s broadcast.

I heard that MASN is now saying they will be broadcast 4 Oriole and 4 Nationals game. No games picked yet.

I looked at the MLBTV telecast schedule and have a few of our games showing up, March 1st O’s vs Phillies, O’s vs Tigers March 14th . I think these are MLB network games, the broadcast teams are Phillies and Tiger teams
