As a CofC alum I'm excited about this guy. Stats look good and the post above about his FB hitting 94 w/ an improved slider is good to hear. Not sure if his ceiling is a FB/SL combo out of the pen or if he can crack the back end of the rotation one day. Luke - do you have any thoughts on him?

These 3 inning starts are just to get him more exposure/innings and work on all of his pitches, right? There's no chance they're actually trying to stretch him out to be a starter?

Means has improved all of his peripheral numbers this season. H/9 is down 1.9 from last season. HR/9 is down 0.6. K/9 is up 3.1. BB/9 is down 0.4. WHIP is down 0.226 Good stuff even though it's still early in the season.
