Look if your politicians don’t build new modern stadiums for these owners they are going to move their teams to where they are willing to do so. I lived it losing the Colts. If we had passed the building of our stadiums before they moved in stead of trying to take them with eminant domain the Colts would have never left. I am not saying it is right but it is the way things work. Tampa is going to soon find out unless they come up with a new stadium.
They have the best record in the AL as of today. As this ownership is made up now they aren’t going to spend big money on free agents or even their own players. It is what it is. If results matter then there isn’t much to complain about. Either you route for the team as it is or not. Constantly calling them a cheap organization doesn’t really help anything.
Hyde said after the game last night that Santander has some soreness and that is why he came out in the 5th inning last night. He could be day to day as while.
I am a big Cowser fan but I have no problem with him going down in a much less pressure situation at AAA and getting his swing straight. If Hicks is hurt again you bring up McKenna and let him play twice a week. There could be further injuries and Cowser could still help this team in Sept if he gets everything together.
Yes and all the experts here that said we waited too long to bring up Cowser. All that said I like Cowser’s make up and think he is going to be good. He will not have the pressure of a pennant race with every at bat at Norfolk and hopefully get things together and come up and help us in Sept. You never know what injuries will happen and we may need him.
