  1. My understanding via knowing someone who has tried to do business with MASN. Is that MASN was very much micromanaged by prior ownership at some level. That nothing allegedly could of been done without some sort of approval at a very high level. And as of result of that they don't get a lot of good programming allegedly.
  2. Doubt any of them really care about angelos getting boxed in. It's clear MLB won't let O's move. And john is trying to present a situation where he has no strength. At this point its a big game of chicken.
  3. I mean at this point both parties are going to have egg on their face. But kudos for Legislature for having a backbone to call out bad deal this is.
  4. Which is the BS part of the move. Which I’m sure some teams will not be pleased with. But kudos to dodgers to giving Yankees a new way to avoid the luxury tax.
  5. Well this will stir up some conversation at MLBHQ and ownership meetings
  6. It already has from the outside. Looks like legislature prefer the land be outside of the lease.
  7. Called it. Anything deal with this and Wes Moore. Makes me questions anything. The administration so far has not had a good read on this deal and GA.
  8. If Angelos is selling the team and backlash is already starting building against what John is demanding for a lease renewal. I don't expect the state to give up land that he wanted to build essentially orioles baseball village. Especially with rumor structure deficit state budget will have in next few years.
  9. Given recent news. I think state will be less likely to give in to these demands.
  10. David Rubenstein specifically is who I think SG is referencing and that could be Carlyle group reference. And there has been rumors he has been eyeing up a franchise locally last year or so.
  11. That part could be bunk. I cough this could be a game of telephone with the facts. But I mean wouldn't shock me if they are sold.
  12. This may add a small amount of smoke. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-08-24/who-will-buy-the-washington-nationals-david-rubenstein-ted-leonsis-weigh-bid?embedded-checkout=true
  13. It was reposted in another twitter thread team is estimated to be worth around 1.6 billion. It's entirely possible that the boys could be struggling with money and may be looking to sell while the team is a known good commodity and ontop of the Carylye group David Rubenstein was trying to buy Nationals allegedly last year. I mean I'd take things with a huge truck load of salt but its possible that things are moving in a direction where the team gets sold.
  14. I have a feeling Elias isn’t going anywhere soon. If he does then John needs to be seen by a doctor. If they won’t spend money on free agents no damn reason they can’t back brinks truck up for executives and home grown players.
  15. He is due to be back on air allegedly the 11th.
  16. Doubt it affects the team on field. If anything them playing may quiet the talk down
  17. Never fail to see the ownership somehow find a way to bumble something positive into a negative. Really wish MLB found a way to force the Angelo’s family out
  18. Selling the team yes. Doubt MLB will allow the team to relocate.
