    Kevin Brown

I totally agree Roy. Kevin makes the game broadcast so much more entertaining that I really miss him when he is not calling the game. None of the other O's PBP announcers are remotely close. I really like Kevin and Ben and I enjoy the banter. When the game is on the line though, they are very serious and you can really notice the difference in their demeanors. There are no others in MLB that I'd rather have, and I watch a lot of games.

    Bullpen

This is not just about today. It is the philosophy not keeping a pitcher in a game when he is throwing very well. As for Cano, he has already pitched in 5 games this year and the rock is no MOUNTAIN! I would be saying the same thing if Cano threw 8 pitches and looked dominant in the eighth inning since Kimbrel was not available.

    Bullpen

It's very frustrating to me the way Hyde uses the bullpen. I see other teams use some of their relievers for more than a single inning all the time. Akin throws 8 pitches to easily retire the side in the 8th inning but he can't come back out for the 9th inning??? Last year this strategy of only one inning at a time frequently cost the bullpen in having fresh options available. If a guy is on a roll like Akin clearly was keep him in!
  4. Baseball Cards...especially the first packs of the season Saturday Game of the Week...Monday night Baseball Listening to Jack Buck and Mike Shannon to get the Orioles score!
  5. I agree. I know there have been some players mention the fans at away games as well. I'm sure they like that! My biggest O's game that I attended in any park was Game 3 in Chicago in '83...That homer from Eddie was majestic and and helped calmed my nerves. LOL
  6. The "O" was very impressive at both games we attended. I've attended O's games in many away parks and it did seem different. For me it is kind of a special kinship with fellow O's fanatics. I'm so glad with the new schedule I'll be able to see them every two years here. Hopefully next year at Camden!
  7. Jeff in AZ here. Very long time reader of this forum and 50+ year diehard despite growing up in Illinois. I attended the Sat and Sun games and was blown away with the number of O's fans! I spoke to many that had come from Cali and other states to show some love for the team. It was a great weekend! No doubt with the great players, that are also great ambassadors for MLB the fan base will continue to grow. These next few years are going to be fantastic!
