Wow, now how many catchers do we have in our farm system, a couple dozen? Didn't know stock-piling catchers was a rebuilding tactic.

Wow, no Fanfest? Bummer! We've been to everyone since 1999 with my kids and was looking forward to taking my grandkids this year. This old timer would like to see something like a "HOFest" inviting all Orioles HOFers. I'm guessing its about 40 or so. Gentile, Brady, Baines....

Thank you Mr. Robinson for some great years of Baltimore Baseball... and for giving this 68 year old many, many years of telling friends and family about one September night in 1971 when this 21 year old was fortunate to catch your 500th home run ball (on the fly) and was honored to give it back to you with no questions asked.

When I met him at a card show in 2016. He was very quiet, moving very slowly and his wife was doing all the talking as we shared a moment from 1971 which he enjoyed. It was an honor that I'll alway remember.

Speaking of #8, I once asked Boog about his time in LF when he wore #16. He said a new guy (Weiss from Chicago?) came and asked for that number so he asked for 26. He said they wanted to give me #8 (he winked and said ' imagine that'), but he told them that he was to fat to wear just one number...... Gotta love Boog!

I guess I'm in the minority (nothing new), but I agree with #5 and Tom Davis. I'm a hugh fan of his show and never miss it. (Maybe it's a old fat guy thing... we stick together.) I interpreted Tom to mean that he's upset that many of the Os fans have written of this year and the next couple for the 2012 Dream Team which they think is going to be the magical year when DT's Calvery will arrive and the Os actually compete. Sorry, us old fat guys can't wait until then and want to cheer for the current team. We want the current team to make a go at it and are pulling for them 100%. We want a boatload of "defining moments" THIS YEAR, not 2012.
