    Mark your calendars because the 13th of this month is a significant date for our crop of talent in Norfolk! As the season heats up, anticipation is mounting as we await the call-up of one or two exceptional player(s) from Norfolk to the big leagues.

    Speculations are swirling about who will be the first to receive the call-up. Will it be the power hitter who's been smashing home runs left and right? Or perhaps Jackson Holliday finally gets his due. The excitement is palpable as fans debate and await the announcement.

    No matter who gets the nod, one thing is for certain: Norfolk's baseball scene is bursting with talent, and the 13th of this month could mark the beginning of an exciting journey for our young core. I sincerely believe Elias isn’t micro managing service time—but with the way Urias, Kemp, Hays and Mullins are slumping— the moment just feels right.  What are everyone thoughts? I bought tickets to 13th in anticipation of this 🤞

    I will take all the rocks thrown today. I understand the vitriol. I promise to be better in future. However, I am pleasantly encouraged by the quantity, quality and swiftness of responses. I hope to be a contributor this season. Thanks again for the somewhat tumbling of a re entrance with half welcoming arms. 😂

    Can a moderator change the topic with a question mark (?) or add or change verbiage so everyone can exhale? The Baltimore sun has a great article of timelines with 5 specific dates but I don’t have a subscription and I refuse to get one. Anyone able to copy and paste?

    My apologies, I went 2-3 pages back and didn’t see. Again, sorry feel free to close the thread, I’m surely not here for glory— I legitimately cannot find the answer to my questions— even sorting through all the hateful comments, there isn’t a clear answer.

    Hear me out here. If they weren’t lying about service time being an issue, Holliday should be up for the Boston series w/ all righties. Urias/Kemp better heed this. Urias 0-season and an error. 
     

    What are the exact details of a Holliday call up IF they ARE IN FACT manipulating service time although I think he win or get top 2 in ROY making the point moot— Can someone elaborate on details of a call up?
