Feel like Santander should have let that drop.
Yeah, that's an option. But I think with this part of the lineup up, you might want to just take the out.

I love when Brooks is in the booth.

Tonight's crappy lineup is a perfect example of why Jordan Westburg should have already been called up. It's stupid to have Odor hitting against a tough lefty, even if he winds up somehow hitting a home run or having a good game at the plate against Valdez.
Hyde also has to stop treating Stowers as a strict platoon player. Another bad lineup from a manager that doesn't understand the players at his disposal.
Sometimes it feels like he makes lineups like a little league manager who tries to make sure everyone gets to play.

I like that answer about not backing down from even the best offenses in the league

Long foul? Hit by who?
Bregman. I thought his foul to left would have cleared the wall if it was the right direction.
What a game!

That would have beaten the wall

Risky play. It worked.
Odor would have gotten a DP

I really love this story about Fired Up Guy. I'd bet he gets a bobblehead night one day

Peña made a great play there

I'd be totally fine with Gunnar our full-time 3B going forward

Another thing is this is good for pen. I know back to back great starts before the night. Now Kremer. No off days left.
Our SPs were great last time, too, against the guys. Love to see it

Not a fan of the double steal with their speed. A single could easily score two
And a double scores both, too

Why do that with Adley up?
Makes no sense. Maldonado can throw.

Thanks for the welcome. As far your trade proposal, Mullins and Norby for Pablo Lopez and Jake Eder or Dax Fulton (one of but not both) could possibly work. The issue is, while I like Norby, he is exclusively a second baseman. The marlins are deficienct at shortstop. Therefore, if you guys gave westburg instead, that would be more enticing.
Speaking for me personally, I like big trades. I'm not a one for one, or two for two type of trade guy. I like deals similar to the juan soto deal. Maximize your value by adding more to the pot. Hence, why I said I would go with Chisolm and Lopez and maybe a young pitching arm like Eder for a Cowser, Westburg, and Mateo/urias. You guys get an all star second baseman with years of control left to pair with Gunnar an arm now (Lopez) and for the future (Eder). Meanwhile, we get Mateo or Urias, who is slick defensively, especially Mateo; Cowser, who for the next few years at least, resolves our center field problems; and Westburg, who can hit the ball (something the marlins seem unable to do).
Hmmm... Interesting offer. I feel like Mateo and Chisholm are a good swap with Gunnar taking over SS full time. I like Westburg, but he's probably blocked here, so he's a good piece in a deal. Cowser is the hardest for me to move in this one. But if you get Pablo and another young arm, I think I'd consider it.
