  1. With the rules have having to end an inning or face 3 batters, LOOGY is really a thing of the past. Unless there’s already 2 outs or a couple of LHH in a row, that maneuver doesn’t work anymore.
  2. When you see the 4-year Sophomore, it refers to him being a sophomore at a 4 year school, not that he's in his 4th year of college and is still a sophomore.
  3. When you see the 4-year Sophomore, it refers to him being a sophomore at a 4 year school, not that he's in his 4th year of college and is still a sophomore.
  4. That's fine to say, but the Cards have to be willing to trade him AND he has to be willing to go there. The Athletic reported over the weekend that any trade involving Goldy is unlikely, because St Louis thinks they can compete next year.
  5. One thing to keep in mind with Goldy, he has a full no-trade clause. I'm not sure what destinations he'd approve a trade to, but I don't think it bodes well for him to be moved at all.
  6. That would make him 1 inch shorter and 10 lbs heavier than Ray Lewis was listed at. Doesn't seem right, but I haven't seen him since his last stint in Baltimore so I guess it's possible.
  7. They projected an entire pitching staff wrong, not a couple of players. Seems like their model just is wrong on the Orioles. Again though, all those models hated the Orioles from 12-16 when they were the winningest team in baseball
  8. O's start their series with Cleveland tomorrow, if they don't call him up soon he's not eligible for the playoffs, correct? Either today or tomorrow have to be the days for him to be called up or I don't think we see him this year.
  9. When is the deadline to be called up and be eligible for postseason roster? Also does postseason count against your rookie eligibility, in terms of ABs and days up?
  10. In a fantasy land I would say Jacob deGrom, but he will likely command a massive contract. I don't know if we need to add bats as much as we need to add pitching so I would hope to add a SP to the rotation.
  11. Not a mock but the sports books have all moved Lee to a huge favorite to go 1.1 -550 is the odds for Lee to go 1 which equates to 85% chance according to the sportsbook
